You made a comparison with the AKG K550, which is just a bit more sensitive than the K702, making me thing the K702 could perform nicely with the Scarlett Solo for monitoring purposes without the need of extra amplification. I'm considering the AKG K702, but I wonder if the Scarlett Solo headphone output will be able to drive it properly.
